Peter Yaholkovsky, MD
Peter is dedicated to professionals realizing their highest potential in effective leadership and in developing high performing teams. His passion is building the skills for open communication and building trust. Peter has over twenty years experience consulting and coaching managers and executives in leadership, effective coordination (Commitment Based Management), open and effective communication, and building trust within and between teams, suppliers and clients. His work addresses leadership development issues, team performance and morale, project management, process design and the successful implementation of change and innovation. He has a special interest and skill in producing resolution in situations where trusting relationships are jeopardized.
His experience in coaching and consulting in a broad range of industries includes information technologies, finance / banking, energy, insurance, engineering and health care. He has provided leadership and management training and development and process design for clients ranging from sole proprietors to global corporations such as Citibank, Cisco Systems, ABN-AMRO, TransAlta Utilities, Allianz, Nova, ATP, Peace Health, and Capital One.
Peter has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and is a physician, Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He has also been certified as a Master Somatic Coach by The Strozzi Institute, with a special interest in developing the emotional skills for building trust in relationships characterized by power differentials. He has studied with Dr. Fernando Flores, a pioneer in the linguistic foundations of action and relationships.
Peter lives with his wife in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California.
